These two grooms and their love story can best be described as “Strawberitas to French Champaign!” Kevin and Nate first met in 2013 and immediately felt sparks for one another. Over the years the two bonded over traveling, a strong commitment to family, and a very beloved doggo. While traveling in Paris, they got engaged under the sparkling lights of the Eiffel tower.
The Orchid Garden was the perfect place for Kevin and Nate to say “I do!”. This venue holds such a special place in each of their hearts. Although they two grooms were originally set to tie the knot in January, they ended up moving it up to October because of new development plans with the Orchid Garden. After much planning, Kevin and Nate were able to have one of the last weddings at this iconic venue and they pulled off the wedding of their dreams!
The big day started as they got ready together (with their friends) at the Embassy Suites. When the wedding was coming to a start these two love birds were love-struck on Church Street! They exchanged vows and a kiss to seal the deal in front of 120 of their closest family and friends. Kevin and Nate made their first debut as a married couple and walked into the reception to “Man I feel like a woman” by Shania Twain. The reception had an elegant style, with every detail in place. The reception hall was filled with gold accents, a hand-painted print of them and their pup, and lots of lush greenery - including succulents at every seat!
A highlight of the reception was definitely when Kevin serenaded Nate with a guitar solo! Their reception was a huge celebration of love - they even incorporated a “Vogue-Off” down a runway with all of the guests in attendance. Needless to say, everyone was on their feet at this wedding dancing the night away.
Now that the wedding day has come to a close they are looking forward to an intimate honeymoon in Italy. They hope to tour the Colosseum and then take a train down to Cinque Terre to explore the city. They both love Europe and want to find a nice balance of exploring the European culture and finding time to rest and relax.
